Diameter 13 mm. Suitable for SH 70 G and SH 213 G.
Sonotrodes are the liquid-contacting part of the ultrasonic system and are screwed to step and Booster horns.
All BANDELIN sonotrodes are made of the titanium alloy TiAl6V4 (3.7165).
Sonotrodes transmit the mechanical vibrations to the sample, are thermostable, autoclavable and resistant to corrosive media. Sample volume, vessel diameter and desired amplitude determine the choice of instrument and the type of sonotrode. A high amplitude means a particularly intensive sonication.
Due to their geometry, the sonotrodes achieve multiple amplitude amplification and thus achieve the highest ultrasonic power densities in liquids. They are used for complicated laboratory tasks such as cell and bacterial disruption in biology and reaction acceleration in chemistry.
Long sonotrodes are particularly suitable for sonication of ceramic suspensions or for sample preparation for particle size analysis.
