With this instrument the reflectance factors at 495 nm and 620 nm are measured and the ratio is indicated in terms of color type numbers. The measurement is done by use of Taylor’s law and an integrated sphere.
Only two standards of the Brunswick color type or ceramic standards, preferably 0 and 6 are necessary to calibrate the Saccharoflex 2020. An adjustment can be carried by using the keyboard.
